Eve,

use this link from the Dutch website (prikbord) to inform you about building a house in the GAMBIA.

http://www.droomwordtwerkelijkheid.web-log.nl/

or first go to http://gambia.startpagina.nl/
and then click to "droom wordt werkelijkheid" in the topic "REISVERHALEN/WEBLOGS"

Eve, if you can follow the paper trail, if they say it was received by gambia get a date and time, as for emails for fax copies. at this stage i would not listen to anything over the phone i would want soething inwriting that the money had been sent.
if it has not been received can you claim insurance. I think by know you will have to be firm.
hope that helps.

I called and asked about the big home in white, it's about 450,000£ without the land, with the land is £475,000, am sure now, i will never get home in the Gambia. How about those living there, how can they afford that,

Yes Eve, the Gambians are buying them. There is money in the Gambia.
Imagin someone paying 2million Dalasis cash. I suggest you should go and find out more sis.

I really want to know how are they buying it, and cause not all the people can afford it, the once working for the govt. will never buy it, b'cos of their salaries, about D2500 par month, and have to live with it, they all saying that it's 2 hard and the prices of the homes costing like that, who are the people buying it then? It's cost more than some homes in Europe even. £475,000
