Am always in the middle. I don't support no party, but I buy good moves, my choices are Jammeh, Halifa, Seedia, and Gomez. These are the Gambian politicians I put my trust on. |

Being in the middle unfortunately indicates indecision and fear of self expression. I want to be able to say where i stand no matter what. Sitting on the fence says a lot about a person. Come off that fence and speak your mind. |

Flip flopping is not about speaking ones mind. Sitting on the fence is a sign of fear. |

Remember he was the number two in UDP until 2001 ,
Kayjatta, let me first put to you that the above quotation is rubbish. The UDP number 2 man is and has always being [since 1996] Yaya Jallow.
I have always said in this forum that I am not a party agent. It has always being my belief that inorder to unseat Jammeh, the best option is for us to put hands together to re-enforce the biggest threat to APRC. I recognise the United Democratic Party for being that threat. That is a fact that commonsense cannot resile from hence, my resolute moral support for the UDP and its able and sophisicated leadership. If you hold a different view, that is a matter for you.
Thanks |
I do not oppose unity but I oppose dumb union. |

Nyarikangbana , thanks for your clarification. I agree Mbarodi wasn't the number two in UDP , he was , I believe, the campaign strategist however and wielded enomous power in UDP. Yet you and Dibba were both silent about any objections you might have about his character or integrity. My question is and remains :why now ? If you don't have the answer , here is one : Your anger and frustration against Mbarodi is POLITCALLY MOTIVATED because he is believed to be thwarting the UDP agenda in Nyamina. Therefore ,you resort to verbally "lynching" him. Mbarodi has a right to political association just like any free person , and it is a democratic duty on you and I and others to respect that right of his. It is also true , UDP is the largest opposition in the Gambia , but UDP alone has not and probably will not be able to dislodge Jammeh from power. That is why it is important for UDP and NRP to understand that they have to form some kind of an alliance with NADD in order to remove Jammeh. If UDP's Darboe wants a party-led coalition , NADD has said that they are willing to work with him (Darboe) , but he also has to compromise on the ground rules for example term limits ,... Dr. Saine has said on this forum before that politics is all about compromise and deal making. To return to the bone of contention : didn't you and Dibba know Mbarodi when he was a central figure in UDP ? Did you and Dibba raise a finger against him ? If you don't have an answer , I have an answer . Until then , let there be Mbarodi , for all that he is. |

I am not sure if believes in the ideals of democracy. He was alledged to have carried whips in Niamina and his supporters could use them on any one who stood in their way. Thats why he was called MARODI.
I hope this story is wrong because it does not tell well of a democrat. |

Kayjatta, Who told you I am a UDP insider? Even when I stated that am not a party agent, you still continued to potray me as a UDP insider. Yes, I support them and I urge you to emulate me if you really want to see the back of the APRC through democratic means. If I was a UDP insider with a voice, Juwara would not have being admitted in the first place. They should have learned a lesson from the ppp which, in 1992 decided never to admit Juwara because of the latter's utterly grotesque character.
Thanks |
