Kassama I understand quite well what you were talking about. What you have shared I have seen and I have also seen the reverse which Serenata referred to. How to deal with this situation? Can people be educated and become more aware of their behaviors? Can they learn to think for themselves? From Kassama and Serenata and many others I learn alot from this Bantaba from the diversity of information and viewpoints. Please continue to share your knowledge and viewpoint of the world. |

I really felt gravely offended with this personal attack and don't ever reckon having any interaction with you so far. Why do't you contribute constructively and critically and exploit your potentials to the fullest in this forum and stop making poor remarks on certain characters to discredit them. Its interactive and we owe each other mutual respect, to make the forum productive and educational. That's not my style. My style is to read between the lines and expressed my opinions in very critical ways and sometimes highlight quotes from the postings. |

My friend, I have not intentionally tried to offend anyone and if you are offended, for that I am sorry. I try to follow some personal agreements, which is not to take anything personally, be impeccable with my word, and do the best I can do everyday.
I understand that my comments maybe perceived as not "intellectual" therefore not something one would post on a forum. However, I see that a wide variety of postings occur on this forum, so that it is acceptable to share experiences and not be necessarily so "academic" in nature. I see myself as a guest in this forum and would want to treat people as I would like to be treated. This means to treat all people no matter what their viewpoin with respect and dignity. Peace. |

No worries Newfy. Your position is very clear in your earlier posting and thought I didn't own it until you mentioned me from the quote above.I must admit to give credit and respect you and including Kassama, Serenata, Jede, Babylon, lemontime, and a lot amongt those who are very interactive in this forum. We are here to share our knowledge and experiences and any sources of information and resources available through this forum. No matter what our differences of opinions are there are different approaches and ways (within ourselves or each individual) limitation(s) to initiate and provoke discussions, expressed, challenge and defend either as layman, academic and intellectual. However there are certain times we tend to personalise, show negative attitudes or even went off-track either deliberately or without realising it or either intentionally or unintentionally. No man is perfect!
I must register that MeMe owes me an apology as I never exchange or interact with whosoever deemed to be. |

No worries Kobo. But wondering are there any agreed about 'rules' about participating in this forum by the Bantaba cyberspace community. For example, treating diverse viewpoints respectfully and not attacking others.
Im sure it must be somewhere on the Forum.??
I know for one, my rule woudl be that speling doesn' count! teehee and a little bit of laughter :) is good medicine to reduce the weight of the woes of the world's/the peoples suffering on one's mind, if not at least momentarily.... |

Newfy there are rules, but some choose not to follow them. Kobo is cool. I have found that once you own up to a mistake it is taken in the spirit it is given. you should read some of the forums. If there is physicarist on the bantaba, i think they will re-write some of the pages. Never make assumptions. Are you enjoying some of the forums.

Thanks, Newfy, I return the compliment; I like to read your interesting and intelligent postings.
I always thought that it would be only natural if blacks had a prejudice against whites. Nobody can be so naive to expect that someone you resp. your ancestors treated so bad will love you in return. This world is not a sado-maso-club!
But thanks God on a personal basis things look different. I am hopeful that as the world is becoming 'smaller' we will learn to respect each other. |

I have read this several times and don't understand anything from them with due respect. Its my opinion to dispel it as inappropriate remarks, confusing, irrelevant and meaningless. Am sorry to express my opinion on it in that respect. More clarity please? |
