Can I ask that when someone writes something in an Afrian language they translate it for non Africans like me.......... I often feel like I am missing the best jokes!
I would be very thankful of this consideration.

Sorry. I am sometimes guilty of this. I will make sure it is translated. |

From my knowledge of Vlaams that most definitely wasn't anything to do with that language ..... |

Nice to see you back Meme.
No this wasn't Vlaams (Flemish) but wolof.. at least I'll try to.
The only word similar in Wolof and Flemish is oto (car) if you pronounce it as it is written.
And Gambiabev, is it true I can wind you up with a few words of Wolof. Then my advice for you is going to the Gambia can be deadly because a lot of Gambians do speak Wolof, really. You will get to excited over there. Be carefull for a hart attack |

Jede you must teach me Wolof! The problem with it written is it isnt phonetic, so I could still say it completely wrong!! Wolof just looks SO foreign to me....
Mandinka is more phonetic, even looks a bit like Spanish or Italian....... bit 'easier' I thik, or hope? |
