Gambia before Jammeh seized power by coup has never been flooded with victims, orphans, and widows as we have it now. Some of the orphans had no chance to see their fathers. Others were just too young. Now many of those young ones then are big enough to bear the sentiment of someone killing their father. A number of men got killed before raising family.

Will Gambians easily forget about the era of torture, murder, and brutality even after the perpetrators are gone? With so much blood stain all around, this will remain the darkest moments in Gambian history.
