Gambianism can be defined as the belief and value systems of being Gambian. This entails a whole range of SHARED VALUES that symbolise or manifestly exhibit as trade mark of Gambian way; by perception, practice and moral characteristics.

A Gambianist will be someone who cherishes and embraces the wholesome Gambian (shared) value systems and mode of social interplay.

This is only an attempt Janko. Just in case it does not hit your target, the error is mine exclusive.

Thanks Karamba, you are very clear and that is a criterion.

What say the batabarians? I call you in alphabetical order, let the “As´ begin; followed by the “Bs´” then the “Cs´” … I know some will say I am bantabanizing, why not.

It is certain that tribe and language, village and town are no analytical categories of Gambianism and a Gambianist.

Ebou Ngum is specially gifted with both head and hands. Get to see his artworks and say where his dexterity lies. I bet, you will choose Mr. Ngum your model for a Gambianist. (Karamba)

His selflessness, concern for the oneness of the people of Gambia Mr. Ngum is hereby nominated an ideal gambianist.
