Terror is horrible. The latest in India is not fun monitoring events. I send my prayers and love to the victims, their families and the entire nation of Indians.

Amazing and one wonders why these things happen, at most Islam is blamed and rightly or wrongly those who practice the dastardly acts mostly hide behind the cloak of Islam. Are we moslems doing enough to distance ourselves from such activities or are the acts so conducted acceptable for moslems ;I wonder!Self defense is one of those acts one takes as defensible but the random killing of persons ,considering that those who eventually fall victims to the said acts could be anybody ranging from Muslim to any other faith practitioner , such killings to me are criminal and unjustifiable by any religious doctrine and certainly not by Islam the religion of peace.May the perpetrators rot in hell!

ARMIES OF GOD:

KAYJATTA.

The prayer of a suicide bomber
May Allah accept me as a martyr
And you cannot take a side
Or make an opinion about the Mid-East

What is then easier
Is what the "infidel" has said
All violence must cease
Al-Qaeda must go
Terrorism must go
Lashkar-e-Taiba
Jaishe-e. Muhammed
The Mujahedeen must cease

These young ambassadors of death
All fodder for the cannon
You tell me
About Jenin and Sharpville
Arafat and Mandela

Global terrorism
The bombings in East Africa,
The World Trade Center
London and Madrid
Yes Mumbai
Overlooking the Arabian sea where flow
The blood of Americans, the British and Jews
Where flow in the horizon
The re-make of Palestine
Yes Kashmir
Beyond that it’s all water in the air
No hope for the young and the able
But rupture, all flame and ashes
Who're these armies of God fighting
Africa? America? The British? The Jew?
The infidel? Modernity?

THIS POEM HAS BEEN ADAPTED FROM AN EARLIER POEM OF MINE.

Awesome, Kay! Thank you.
Who are they fighting, indeed, these shockingly young crazy fanatics. Who told them to do this?? Or is it their own frustration, powerlessness, jealousy, poverty, lack of 'self'?
What a world, where can we go these days to be free from the madness?

Thank you, Kaanibaa! I've waited a long time to hear someone of the muslim faith speak out about these so-called 'martyrs'. If only more stood up and let their collective voices be heard we'd be a long way towards proper understanding and respect of Islam and less inclined to jump on the blame wagon.

You see there are so many philosophers out there, in some parts we will agree with and some not.
I do not find more suitable words than the words of God,
“Give over God will, and did not warp not with your own hands in spoiling”
This quranic verse, in order to give God will and refrain from acts, which fall us into spoiling, we must obey today more than at before any time.

That’s why l still legend: Why did we see one sons or one of their daughters up to this moment, carrying an explosive belt and in acts, and not in words, which fulfilling, which their fathers preach day and night? Is the bad play ‚of the Jihads', ‚limited to the martyr becoming' and death to a certain group? Are the sons and daughters of the elite excluded from, for what the sons and daughters of the public are driven? How long will this patient people continue to pay that blood of their sons for an *****ic policy, whose devastating failure is proven with release also only a small part of the robbed Palestinian rights?
Which stings the soul most deeply, the heart at most hurts, which lets eyes cry most strongly.

I ask, each father and mother, why their son were blown up, afflicted: With which right these leaders send your young boys and girls/ young person young in the bloom of their youth, into death? Who gave the religious or any other authentication to entice children and to drive youth into death?
Yes, I talk about death, and not about martyrdom, it is differently to designate and adorn or changes for the family of the son, who went and will never return to pay few thousands a dollar not in the shock and cannot undo the result not. These funds, which are paid to the families of the martyrs, cause more pain it would heal. These funds let it feel, as if they received a price for the life of their children. But the life of the children has a price? Did death become the only means, in order rights back too received, in order to release the country? Would this be so, why does not have more only one of that sheikh, which argue about the publication of the sharpest announcement, his son sent? Why does not one that leader, which cannot restrain in the transmissions of the satellite programs, to show their joy and excitation each mark if a suicides boy or a girl breaks to blow up itself into air?
Is this or that just a brain wash? Many philosophies question which is probable difficulty to answer, while every one have own point of views but life is worthy than squandering away in anyway from anyone.

So blaming here or there condemning it or not will not help, Solution is the only answer to this problems.

"problem cause problems but cannot solve it self"

Mbay, i only read in your message about the dead "martyrs' (i know you do not think they should be called thus, but still..). How about the victims of their vicious attacks?
Indeed, what if it were one of my children who willingly killed himself because of religion? I could not get over it. What if it would have been my child who in his craze killed other innocent people, how could i ever live with that knowledge? What an immense shame. How can people raise their children in the conviction that this is the right thing to do?

yet another outrage in the name of Islam. Another reason for people to hate the religion and its practitioners.
The tired old reasons of the West's foreign policy, the middle eastern situation do nothing to excuse the disgusting, inhuman, appalling acts perpetrated by cowards and subhumans upon people who have no sway whatsover against the "causes" these animals claim to be the reeasons for their atrocious acts. The progress of humanity as a whole, every step we take forward, every good thing we achieve, is washed away in a stream of innocent blood by people who hijack this , essentially peaceful, religion.
Until the vast, but unfortunately silent majority, of decent Islamic folk , get up and expose these vile animals in their midst, these preachers of hate who turn innocent,law-abiding, god-fearing kids , into tools of murder and self-destruction, the world is doomed... in the name of god,and Islam.???? complete b-llocks. Shame on the silent ones who know any of these imams, mullahs, terrorists, or centres of radicalisation and keep their pathetic mouths shut.
Let them not have any sympathy when the next time the tv shows an 18 year old with an ak47 being killed, that is is one of their own children.
rot in hell the lot of them.

There is talk of some of these boys (because they do appear to be young) being from UK. Radicalised Muslims. They go to Pakistan to learn about the religion and come out prepared to be terrorists.

The extreme Pakistan view of the world bears no relation to any Muslim person I have ever met.

Some of the attacks were targeted on westerners, but some were arbitary. More Indians have died than any other nationality.

It will be interesting to see where they are from and the reasoning behind it all.

I am a pacist, so I am totally opposed to aggressive acts.

Thanks all for your rejoinders.

We should all be careful in discussing these sensitive issues. They do have a tendency to escalate and get us out of topics. What we can all agree on , terror is wrong no matter who did it; be it the Muslim from Afghan, the Jew from Islael, the Somali, American, Gambian or et cetera or the Christian from mass. Terror is blind, and emanates from indoctrination. We should condemn all sorts of terror, be it the major or minor terror.

I therefore join you all in condemning terror completely, especially the latest in India. The doers are wrong. They deserve capital punishment for heneous acts.

Only one of the terrorists survived? This is very suspicious. Maybe there is more behind these attacks than a group of 'islamists'. No or only one, two survivors always point to the direction of secret services. The question is now: Which one?

Just like 9/11, after this attack, the most to lose are muslims. Who are the one gains most?

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

'The most to lose are Muslims'

Why?

I think the Indian people have suffered the most casualties. Mainly Hindu I would of thought?

Is the motive political between Pakistan and India or is it religious with a wider perspective?

Either way there are no winners.

scary thing, if you believe the indian police, is that 5-7 of these scumbags came from leeds or bradford.
about time this country stopped this p.c. chicken-sh-t scared-of-offending-the muslims- stuff and rooted out these radicalisation centres in universities, mosques and madrassas. we all know it goes on, but this alas, relies on inside information from the law-abiding, decent muslims, who seem lothe, or scared(or both) to open their mouths.it also relies on a police force whose hands are not tied by their weasel-worded superiors who let people die rather than "offend".
this country is its own worst enemy sometimes.
sympathy to all those who lost loved ones. the pictures today were more than gruesome.
