OMVG Project Empowers Nyakoi Women
Gambia River Basin Development Organisation (OMVG) includes the Bissau and Senegal. The project entitled Natural Resources Development and Management Project (NRDMP) under poverty and sustainably improve the living conditions of population in the project intervention areas project components.

Furthermore, in view of the engagement of women in vegetable gardening, Mrs. Dia Thiane Diagne, consultant NRDMP Project Support, provides Nyakoi women gardeners with garden materials and equipment in order to enhance their economic power and nutritional status. The consultant was assisted by the national local adviser Mr. Sarjoh GNH Fatajoh, who trained these women group to build their capacity on national resources management and development in gardening, compost making and crop production. These trainings were jointly executed by Mr. Sarjoh Fatajoh and Mr. Ebrima Baldeh, National Local Advisers of Sare Ngai Ward.
