The death of the Senegalese comedian Mamadou Guèye, but known as Makhourédia Guèye died this morning Sunday at the age of 84.
He played in the drama group Daraay Kocc which has been running on national television for many years.
On the Cinema front he has starred in many films under the iconic film director the late Sembene Ousmane in the following films, ’Manda bi ‘’ (Le Mandat) in 1968,‘’Xala’’ in (1974) Ceddo in (1976, he also featured in the movie Hyènes directed by Djibril Diop Mambety (1992).
His entire career lasted more 50years.
