If a child has two parents who love and care for him/her and eachother, she/he will become a loving and caring adult. Gay people are just like avarege people, they are not thinking about or having sex all the time and I donīt believe they do it in front of their children. But among young people, insecure about their identity, itīs trendy to be gay or bi, and most of them turn hetero after some years. But the "real ones" canīt help themselves and when trying to act hetero, marrying opposite sex, they become very unhappy and the intire family is suffering. How good can that be to their children?

 Damn this is so boring.......why do we still live in such a closed minded world, that for some reason is guided by stupid religion ( which if you ask me, is the route of all EVIL) or people spending their time following others instead of making up their own mind and opinions.
Yes there is no right or wrong to being GAY since there is no right or wrong to being STRAIGHT, BLACK, WHITE, CHINESE, ASIAN etc etc it is how we are born.....only people who have a strong belief in religion feel they have the right to judge people on their realtioship/sexual prefrences. But Where do they get off, what gives them the right, Just because they believe the writing of some stupid book????????

You would rather helpless children who have been orphaned, for one reason or another, live in a childrens home or with parents( who might the violent, the parents might be constantly arguing etc etc) of man and wife, instead of a same sex couple because the home would be empty????????????where is the sense in that!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway what the hell do you mean by empty!!!!!????? so a loving same sex couple cant give the same things to a child that a man and woman couple can???!!!!! I just cant see the sense in that. What is most important is who can provide the most stable and loving home for the child!!!!!!!!!
AAARRRGGGHHH it's just the same as saying that a child cant be brought up by a single parent because it wont get the same quality of life as two parents!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been brought up by my mother (meme), no father insight ( he fathered 4 kids and one took care of one by the way). she has done a fantastic job, I went through all my education with good qualitfcations and have always had more than enough in my life. And I too will make my sons life just as rewarding!!!!!!!!!! I would rather be a single parent than be constantly having my son witness his father and I arguing and his father sitting on his backside drinking green tea all day.( oh yes there are Gambian men out there who do, do this ALL DAY, I have witnessed it )
What is most sad is that some homosexuals feel they have to take their own lifes because they dont want to come out in fear of dissappointing their loved ones. It is society that is making people think that being different to the 'normal' is wrong. If everyone was to open their eyes and realise as long as the people are living their life they want to and are happy, then who are we/they to judge??????????? |

Okay, if you insist  , let me put in something to keep the discussion going (even though i am totally convinced that we will never be able to change each others' minds on this subject  ). Unfortunately! No matter how much fire and anger we put in our postings.......
Denouncing homosexuality is a waste of energy, because it is a given thing: most people are born heterosexual, about 10% of the people are born homosexual and in this case it doesn't matter where you are born. None of us have a choice in the matter.
In answer to Toubab's questions: yes, i think people should rely solely on their own feelings about what is right and what is wrong. 'Is this another form of love' What do you mean, another form?? It is love!! And don't we all hope to love and be loved in return and have a beautiful sexual relationship with the one we love?
It must be horrible to have to live in a country where you cannot be who you really are.
Same sex couples are full well capable of creating a loving home for their children. Some homosexual couples will fail to do so, just like some heterosexual couples fail in offering their children a safe and loving surrounding to grow up in. I would never have thought Kayjatta would not agree to this.
But, there you see..we do not really know each other at all!

| Hi even science is not in agreement with homosexuals. "Like poles attract and unlike poles repel" as in physics. The question is whether it is a genetic disease or a life style? If it is a disease it needs a cure and if it is a life style, it is not doing justice to human re-generation. I wonder how they do it? With fingers or at the backside? Oh no, how dare you go against nature! The bottom line is it against all human and African values and we wont accept a nasty life style in our society. |

Hi, one Iranian man told me that young men in Iran do it in each others "backsides" since they are not allowed to have sex with the girls before marriage. He also told that most of them stop it when they marry but not all. But I donīt really know if that is ok so long itīs done in secret. I have realized that lots of people do things that are not accepted by society so long they wonīt be caught. Canīt say what is wrong and what is right since different societies have different rules, one thing though I donīt think is ok anywhere and that is sex with underaged which here in Sweden is 15 years.

i do not have enough information on the subjecct - perhaps because i have never been interested in the subject.
the only think i can say is that until few years ago, i had a friend who was gay. he was one of my best friends, he was like a brother to me. i remembered him confiding in me and telling me he had never told even his family or any body else for fear of rejection. he hated himself so much - he once told me 'if there was a medicine for it he would take it in order to get rid of this disease'. i tried to be understanding and helpfull - because as far as i was concerned...

This arbiter, They just remind me a zoo documentary I saw recently,
they are nothing but modern prey/carnivore , why cant they bear by themselves but instead are taking away from those that has voluntarily spends a risk 9-10 months in fatigue!!

Hmmm so where is your crown to say that you can speak for all human kind????? There are plenty people who are not against it!
And it is people like you that makes this world a bitter place, you are able to say such things about homosexuality but what if i was to say that being BLACK is against human values and they all live nasty life styles and are not worthy in our world???? Not nice is it and not true either!!!!!!!!!!

Fee Sweetie: When I say "as empty as two consenting adults" i was quoting from this earlier poem of mine. It has a slightly deeper meaning. I am not against homosexuals and homosexuality per se, but I have some public policy concerns. I will come back to clarify that shortly. Thanks for your concerns.
