This is about friendship between two men. they used to do nearly everything together such that people called them inseparable twins in jest. sadly one of them died and the other chap started mourning inconsolably for his friends demise .He cried so much and so loud accompanied by interjections .This continued till the body was buried and he sat near the grave refusing the pleas of other people to get up and go home with them,as he said he wanted to join his friend in the grave .What he did not realize was that during the burial his caftan was logged in the grave by some mischievous person.He sat there for a while and when he saw that he was abandoned by the rest of the funeral crowd and grave yards being deserted areas, he wanted to stand up and go home too. At this point he saw that he could not as he was held down by the logged piece of his dress . He thought it was being held by his friend so he said to him My friend please let go off my caftan i want to home. The caftan would not budge so he just looped it off his body and ran away in fright believing that the dead man was trying to get him to stay by the grave yard.He ran so swiftly that he overtook the crowd some of whom on seeing him followed suit . it was such a scramble,every one scurrying away trying to escape whatever was pursuing the said man. When things settled down they started arguing about what happened and some laughed at the man's earlier folly and later cowardice.He reposted that he indeed was foolish as claimed but that those who fled as he did were bigger cowards as they fled from an unknown pursuer whereas for him he thought that he was being detained by his dead friend . Who in your opinion was the coward in this case?
