The Gambian Association in Minnesota performed their handing over ceremony for the incoming executive on January 26th 2008 in Hopkins (MN). The gathering which was well-spirited attracted a sizeable number of Gambians in the area.

It is good to share about your communities. This poor world of ours cannot be only about politics. Take a break somtimes and chill. Even if you are Sidia Jatta or Demba Baldeh (Oops!), you need that moment.
(Jovial relation: It is easy to recognize the Serers, wollofs and the Jolas. They didn't even let us take their pictures at the food table.)
Like Obama will put it, we need a replacement of 'hope over fear' in 'blue states and red states.'
