This weekend I am going to the pub on Friday night to meet friends. In Yorkshire they call it early doors ie straight from work. The idea is you go early and then go home early.....sometimes one drink leads to another and you end up not going home till late and not eating much either.Oh dear!!!
Then On Saturday I am going to the Harrogate spring flower show. Something like 60,000 people go to look at plants and flowers. Very English!!
If it is nice weather on Sunday I will go to a car boot sale to buy things for my class at school. Then take my daughters out for a pub lunch. Perhaps watch Eastenders omnibus or read a book or sleep in the afternoon, then at night get down to school work.
I could do with a three day weekend! |
