Jamba,
that's no good news, but another press on the electric switch that whirls the electric sweeping broom. If there is any administration in the world, but that of jammeh will record the highest number of fired civil servants.
The thing here is, if you refuse to work with them, you are either proud, a non-patriot, or you don't like them. also, it is a job for people, a way of earning and feeding ones' family.
if you work with them, you either end up at the 'resting hotel' or you end being humuliated, demoralized and stripped off of nobility.
the funny thing, they are not learning any lessongs from it. sad!! |

How do u think we are able to have a whole diaspora against Jammeh? you, your uncle, mother or father has to be in loggerheads with Jammeh's administration. also, she is "relieved" of her burden. she probably did something ethical/right that they don't like.
bad, cos she has a family, and might be a breadwinner. also the embrassment, demoralization, like they did to Lai Conteh at the KMC.
have a good day jamba-kiting. |

The electric broom sweeps clean. If someone is not up to the job then they have to go. In the real world people are fired if they aren't doing a good job. The President has the right to reshuffle whenever he chooses too. When since has a ministerial position been for life? It is common practice for Heads of State to shuffle there Ministers around if their performance is not up to scratch. Clearly Susan Waff Ogoo wasn't.

sister omega Its the duty of the head of state to reshuffle da cabinet if the outcomes are not satisfying, but lets all gambians answer this question: Do we believe that all those fired in jammeh`s administration are imcompetent in various capacities? If the answer is no then gambians have a serious problem. I will say jammeh himself is not competent and true to gambians, otherwise gambians are not this corrupt and incompetent as perceived by jammeh. The worse thing of all is their reasons for the sackings are never known. Believe me this government is not for the interest of the gambia but the executive, unless we are blind and dumb enough to see and hear what the future holds for the gambia under yayah`s watch.

Dalton every writer writes from an angle. How many in the opposition worked for Jammeh and song his praises whilst in government jobs? But as soon as they were sacked or quit. They joined the chorus of the opposition. We all hear the moans and shouts from those who have fallen off of their purches but we don't hear the masses shouting Jammeh out! Their response call was to call for him to remain in power! So the illusion being spun from amateur spin doctors picking over the corps of the elections after another victory by the APRC. Whilst undertaking the postmortem of NADD's demise is like someone stranded at the airport watching their plane fly off!

not bad at all to work with him , and know his complexity.
that's why Ebou Jallow, and his bunch of one time associates are now free in washington and london.
but also, it was far from being a true victory, cos no level playing ground.
May be you can go credit your scholastic achievements, and lobby for a position. You, together with Sajar Taal, another dishonest intellectual, will be best at selling the Aids yellow liquid cure for Jammeh. |
