not bad at all to work with him , and know his complexity.

that's why Ebou Jallow, and his bunch of one time associates are now free in washington and london.

but also, it was far from being a true victory, cos no level playing ground.

May be you can go credit your scholastic achievements, and lobby for a position. You, together with Sajar Taal, another dishonest intellectual, will be best at selling the Aids yellow liquid cure for Jammeh.

Am truly amazed by the dynamics of contemporary Gambian politics. Is Susan the first to be fired? If no why the noise? Many came and went so shall others follow. If Susan has served diligently for 12yrs uninterrupted why the sack now? If sacking her is for the good of The Gambia so be it. If she is sack for other reasons(unfair) then thats another miscarriage of good governance.

Susan's relationship with Jammeh is an open secret. They both grew up in Pa Tamba's home as foster brother and sister. If a sister gives/ feeds a brother or vice versa, thats pretty normal, especially in Africa. Many provencial chaps stay with family friends or extended families whilst going to high school in the urban areas. Some of these wards never even pay courtsey calls on these families let alone give them a piece of bread.

Gambians i think we should look at ourselves again. Lets be sincere. Whenever Jammeh re-shuffles his cabinet and Susan stays put, we all say ah she is the 'untouchable', now he sacks her own sister ah too bad. What do we want??

As i always say and continue to say Jammeh alone is not the people's problem. There are loads of Gambians out there who are thinking of themselves only.Until we Gambians change our attitude towards one another in the true interest of the Gambian people and the Gambia then we are yet to see a better Gambia, than today's.

'It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good.'

'He who observes the wind will not sow; and he who regards the clouds will not reap.'-from the book of proverbial wisdom.

So where are we? The motion on the floor is "for tyranny" vs. "against tyranny". If it is understanding of what is written down,so, we can assist with the understanding of it.

How about an emphatic "NO"???

Note: For the records in this forum, i do not know Susan in person. i've never talked to her in person, and i 've never met her. I have no friend or mate that is associated with Ogoo famiy, only that she is part of the Gambian family at large.

Is Maity Ceesay, press secretary at statehouse, also seconds sajar at observer a victim of the shameful electric broom ? (courtesy of Freedom newspaper.) If this is true, then it's another move to condemn. He will also live to regrete his nibs, while will continue to live with Gambians bending his head the rest of his life. The guy is alleged, together with Sajar Taal to behind the shameful acts at the Daily Observer.Olof Njie noneh, 'hamal saa yon, hamal saa boppa, hamal saa deff-deff garap laa."

May be Omega and her hims' can comment on this one too.

If the answer is no then gambians have a serious problem. I will say jammeh himself is not competent and true to gambians, otherwise gambians are not this corrupt and incompetent as perceived by jammeh. The worse thing of all is their reasons for the sackings are never known. Believe me this government is not for the interest of the gambia but the executive, unless we are blind and dumb enough to see and hear what the future holds for the gambia under yayah`s watch.

Hagai,
All those fired in jammeh`s administration are not imcompetent in various capacities. They faild to do their job properly that is why. I understand the sister very well. In the private sector, the CEOs can be fired without notice if he/she does not do the job properly. I think the problems with us here is we are too blind to see the truth when it comes to Jammeh. You must be able to swallow the truth. It hurts like pepper. Most of us would support a guy because he/she is our friend or relative even though the person is wrong. We must speak the truth even if it means we get at loggerheads.Gambian ministers have had the habit of not doing their duties accordingly. One day it must come to an end. I underster the sister very well.
I think Sister does not mean.
I think those fired have the right to express themselves in the newspapers so as to make the public awear of the truth. Have any of the sacked ones ever done so? I would like to read the defens of these people in the pappers. The journalists can go an intervew the people concerned, this is the proper way. Even the point newspaper is quite about it. What is the problem? Why not an intervew or pressconferens, the media could demand it.
