Am not sure if that tactical alliance will work for this weak opposition. You guys have forgotten already what led to the break up. The break up was a very serious thing and once trust is lacking between the parties then there is no point contesting together.

I believe with this group of politicians together the damage has been done permanently. The only way forward is for some other prominent members of the individual parties to take over the leadership and dictate the tempo. The leaders have failed and they are severely humiliated.

We all know it is because of their egos that prevented them from giving up their individual desires. Those same egos are still alive and well. I will be suprise to see them come together to contest the paliamentary elections. Some of them are only interested in asuming the Presidency and nothing else. It is a sad situation.

I concur with you Dbaldeh. Its total shambles and lost of credibility on both opposition partoies and their leaderships! There are no prospects within a short space of time to address certain issues and weaknesses confronting the opposition parties. Its just formalities between them but they can't make any headway or breakthrough for the parliamentary elections.

A lot of preparation and ground work is required to set up a competitive opposition party that has future with a new breed of politicians, new visions and younger generation of dynamic politicians.
