"VOTE FOR SOME ONE YOU CAN TRUST" NADD Chairman Bubacarr K. Sowe
Landing Jallow Sonko, Chairman of the National Alliance for Democracy and Development (NADD), has advised Gambians to vote for a Candidate who they can trust one who will respect the rule of law. Addressing a mass rally on Saturday at Serrekunda, Mr. Sonko said that Sovereignty and power reside in the electorate and they should choose a wise Leader. "Your vote is your only power, give it to the one you trust. Watch carefully those people you are putting into leadership positions," Sonko said to a crowd of onlookers. He added that NADD was established by the Opposition front with a view to uprooting the Jammeh regime. He said that now the United Democratic Party and National Reconciliation Party (UDP/NRP) have pulled out of the alliance, which action he said can only be explained by themselves.
" NADD is the only Party that can move The Gambia towards a rapid development, democracy and respect for human rights," he promised. Mr. Sonko also lamented the crippling economic conditions, highlighting that most Gambians are becoming hungry and poorer than they used to be before Jammeh seized power in a Military Coup in 1994.
