Justice SM Monageng, presiding judge in the March 21 abortive coup trial on Monday adjourned the case to October 17. According to Justice Monageng, the two month-long adjournments were prodded by a vacation. Musa Batchilly, Lamin Mbooge, and Neneh Chongan-Cham - the defense council had informed the court that they were served with the witnesses statements. Emmanuel Fegbenle and Marie Saine represented the state. Cpt Pierre Mendy, Cpt Abdouram Jah, Private Alhagie Nying, Cpl Samba Bah, Lt Momodou Alieu Bah, Cpl Babou Janha, and Hamadi Sowe are standing trial.
