update on the case, silly time at the courts. The trial of the Councillor of Old Bakau for allegedly uttering statements with the potential of jeopardising national security has suffered yet another setback.
Mr Ousman Jatta, fondly called Rambo, and a multitude of his supporters and sympathisers yesterday came to the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court where hearing into the trial was due to be held. The case however could not proceed as the court did not sit yesterday. The case is expected back in court on August 16.
