This man from his position as an Alkalo must have known what he did was wrong,things are hard for EVERYONE in Gambia and I suppose he thought that he could get away with what he did. The traditional way that this case was dealt with was good especially the judgement of the district Chief who fairly considered the financial circumstances of the man,something that is sometimes overlooked in other places.
