Mrs Ince told the Daily Mail: ‘Mustapha was different to all the other men I had met through the dating site.

A lady with wealth using the dating agency - could have done a lot worse - she's an opportunist & this time around lucky to be alive to tell her tale!

I'm aware of the evil in relationships throughout the world, but when I posted I was thinking more about the lady's use of a dating agency, everyone to their own...

Easy easy on the Gambian people, as u know from your vast travelling, the good & bad walk beside us everyday.

I agree yes there is good and bad every where that goes without saying

Its not a case of going easy easy on Gambians This is what is happening in Gambia today and from past press reports has happened many times before

Becuase of this modern day hectic life. There are a lot of lonely people out there so I see nothing wrong in dating agencies
So yes each to there own I dont criticise

Greetings guys. After I listened to the boy narate his side of the story, it created a she-said, he said. Hopefully the truth will set any of them free.

Good to see your lines always Sab.

One could always argue the point of who is exploiting who
But one has to ask ones self who has the most to gain to answer the question
Or one could say they are both equally exploiting each other
Variuose view points

But the fact of the matter is this is one of the many ways that foreigners get in to England via the back door and has created a massive social problem in the UK
Which every British tax payer is paying for. This is not Racist it’s Resentful

"Widow, 59, married young Gambian a year after meeting him on dating website
She trusted him as he had job in UK and never asked about her wealth"

This guy was already in the UK working according to the article so how can he come there through the back door?

Snuggles, perhaps the foreigners wouldn't have come there if the Brits didn't go to them first. Remember the British Empire?

Divorce happens even between Gambians so will give this guy the benefit of the doubt.
The woman could have made a marriage pact in order to secure her wealth in the event of a divorce that he does not have a claim but she was so naive.

A bit harsh Sab surely she wanted someone to love her,did dating sites etc, then found someone who she thought could make a life with, instead of being ripped off by a bad man,Gambian, toubab, chinese, mongolian indian ,whoever.
As for your words:

"& this time around lucky to be alive to tell her tale!"

Can you explain me what connection they have with this article ? I can see none .

Thanks.

Maybe the rules for residency are not just fair enough. In a fair and just world, one would expect rules for immigrants to be accomodative such that it won't encourage any scam marriages as the lady would want us to believe.Immigrants constitute a greater part of the work force in any western country. Therefore creating a path for law abiding immigrants should be the concern of any responsible Gov't. Herein, a widowed woman wanted to try a young African, especially after Obama's world inspiration. It wasn't a wrong move. I am sure she wanted to be loved, till-death-do-us-part! It fell apart. Instead of going around changing the story, she should swallow her pride and move on. The he-said claims of sexual exploitation. The she-said claims of material exploitation. Both of the two cannot be right. Let us accept that it was two lovers who now are apart. And my heart-felt sympathy goes to both parties and their families. I am sure there were joyous moments they both cherished together when they all felt that was the world's heaven.

OK I concede that

Snuggles, perhaps the foreigners wouldn't have come there if the Brits didn't go to them first. Remember the British Empire?

Here we go again Time and time again blame the Britsh Empire Its time to move on. Parts of a legacy brits are not proud of. That was then lets live in todays world

Ok I agree But sham marriages of a way to get into the UK are a big problem
Divorce happens even between Gambians so will give this guy the benefit of the doubt.

But there again this could of been all part of a master plan to gain citenzenship not money which was important to him Plus there is the possibility he was all ready married
We,ll never know

Yes she was stupid

OK GUYS WHAT DO YOU THINK TO THE FOLLOWING

Immigration Minister Damian Green said last night: ‘We are considering requiring couples to complete a five-year probation to prove their marriage is genuine before they are eligible for settlement.
