Karamba, the man is sick.how comes before 1994, he does not even by a loaf of bread and sugar for a simple "pon seh" to celebrate his birth day? That is how greedy people behave.Yahya Jammeh is the master of all fools and he knows it.His days are numbered. |

Malick captured some chilling sentiments. It is not likely that the message will reach as doors to the recipient's good senses have been iron sealed.
This is real good stuff and commendable. |

Is it not enough that these congratulatory messages are read daily on the GRTS and written by Daily Observer? Should we also be bombarded by them here? |

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Commentary: FROM THE DAILY NEWS;
1. "Jammeh’s Birthday musical jamboree
Even as birthday wishes to Yahya Jammeh from Gambians who have nothing better to do continue to pour into the pages of Yahya Jammeh’s mouthpiece, The Daily Observer, the celebration was crowned with a musical jamboree that costs money.
The Gambia cannot afford this wasteful spending, particularly since with all these public holidays, the unending celebrations and free perpetual public feasting, our ability to create wealth for our country has been greatly diminished.
As we speak, The Gambia is unable to equip and stock its hospitals and health centers with critical materials and drugs or provide adequate supplies of teaching aids to our schools, yet Yahya Jammeh can afford to spends huge sums of dollars on celebrating himself and dishing out money as if he has an infinite supply of it.
If there is one thing that could make somebody scream at the top of their lungs with utter frustration, this was it. This is further evidence that Yahya Jammeh has long ago reached the point where in his mind, the distinction between him as an individual and The Gambia as a country is blurred."
