UPDATE FROM FREEDOM NEWSPAPER ON THE RADIO PROGRAMME; WITH THIS REPORT Breaking News: Gambia: OJ JALLOW SAYS YAHYA JAMMEH HAD KILLED GAMBIA’S ECONOMY, AND AGRICULTURE! UNDER http://www.freedomnewspaper.com/Homepage/tabid/36/mid/367/newsid367/6032/Breaking-News-Gambia--OJ-JALLOW-SAYS-YAHYA-JAMMEH-HAD-KILLED-GAMBIAS-ECONOMY-AND-AGRICULTURE/Default.aspx

I LISTENED TO THIS PROGRAMME BUT SOME VERY IMPORTANT VERBATIM INFORMATION AND FACTS ARE MISSING UNDER THIS SECTION EXTRACTED BELOW; ACCORDING TO FREEDOM NEWSPAPER
Gambia’s Opposition Is Dead!

Mr. Jallow said there is lack of sincerity among political leaders in The Gambia. He said with barely less than six months for elections the opposition PDOIS, and UDP are undermining one another. He said he has personally tried to bring the opposition together to contest the elections under one platform, but both parties are not willing to listen to one another.

He said he had numerous talks with Halifa Sallah, of PDOIS, but Sallah later told him that he had handed Sidia Jatta with the leadership party negotiations. He said Sidia was busy trying to sell PDOIS'S agenda 2011, while UDP is insisting on a party led alliance. He said there is no hope for opposition merger in the coming elections.

According to OJ, the country’s opposition is fragmented. He maintains that there is no sincerity among party leaders. They are all interested in leading despite the growing demand for opposition merger, he said. He said instead of working as a team to unseat Jammeh, the PDOIS, and the UDP had been attacking each other in the local newspapers. He describes the conduct of both parties as embarrassing. He said Gambians had lost faith in the opposition due to the behavior of certain leaders."
