This from the D.O. is there more to this than meets the eye ? Any one know what brought this about,? to publish a report about a squabble between two schools at a sports day is quite unusual,so is having a presidential enquiry.

The Office of the President has issued a statement condemning the unfortunate melee that occured between students of Armitage and Bansang Senior Secondary Schools at an annual sports gathering held at the Armitage School grounds last Saturday, February 12th, 2011, a media dispatch revealed.
The release reads: The Office of the President has learnt with utter dismay about the fight that erupted between student of Armitage and Bansang Senior Secondary Schools at an annual sports gathering at Armitage school grounds on?Saturday the 12th of February 2011. Sporting events are intended to nurture understanding and collaboration between students, and not hatred and violence.
Consequently, the Office of the President is mounting a thorough investigation into this unfortunate incident, and all those responsible will face the full force of the law. This kind of malpractice will not be tolerated, and let this serve as a warning to anyone with such intentions in the future.
