1. STOP INTERFERING WITH THE NORMAL POLITICAL ACTIVITIES OF PARTIES

The normal activities of political parties should not be interfered with. The law of the land is very clear on political party activities.
The following provision has been moved from section 60 of the Constitution and incorporated in the Elections Act as follows:
“Political parties may be established to participate in the shaping of the political will of the people, to disseminate information of political ideas and on political, economic, and social programmes of a national character and to sponsor Candidates for public elections.”
Hence political activists are free to move about to facilitate the shaping of the political will of the people; disseminate information on the political, economic and social programmes of their parties.
They should not be hindered in the exercise of their political rights. Affected political parties should lodge formal complaints to the IEC and the inter party committee for action. Any sign of hindrance should be exposed and condemned. Foroyaa is calling on all state agents to respect and uphold the provisions of the Constitution and the laws of the country.
The Director of public prosecution should also follow the cases in court and file nolle prosequi to discharge any accused person who is not properly brought before the court to avoid miscarriage of justice.
This is how a just judicial system should function. Justice delayed is justice denied.
