A 18-year-old man was sentenced today to seven years in prison for the high-profile murder of a 19-year-old in Alby last summer.
A 19-year-old man was sentenced to three months in jail and probation for complicity in aggravated assault, while an 18-year-old been charged with incitement to murder acquitted entirely by District Court.
The district court takes into account their young age and reduces prison sentences significantly. The court judges that the penalty for 18-year-old convicted of murder is actually 14 years in prison, and the 19-year-old one year and ten months in prison.
The District Court wrote in itīs verdict that the murder was planned and had the character of a pure execution.
