Just a point, I am aware that the Avatar is to be used as a symbol fun. However the use of Bob Marley image is offensive to me as a Rastafarian who knows that alot of the views expressed by the user of his image goes against Rastafarian views.
Peace

Thanks gambianbev for your quick response, it is good to see after twenty-five years Bob Marley's passing that his music is being appreciloved all over the world. I personally don't think that his image should be used as a avatar.

Sister omega, you correct this image is important and should be used correctly. I never even consider it, because I have seen it used before. i will now remember what you said and will be verbal if i see it in a context I think is wrong. |

I do't think so. These avatars also are sources of inspiration, shining symbols, stars and lightens up our minds as we reflect upon their images as icons reknown for being in the limelight for upliftment of mankind towards another advance level of acquiring peace and love with each other. That Bob Marley's avatar was one of the best shining lights or lamps of the Bantaba and open to be used freely. |

Hi, I am working on it and just testing some security issues at the moment. You can already show your photo in your profile if you have it somewhere else on the internet. Just add the URL of the image file in the profile. |

I wish to add that; some symbolic icons are really heavy and demanding to be used if you don't knew who these personalities are, what they represent to the human race and cannot make representations to promote and inspire upliftment of mankind from the ideals of the wonderful images on the avatar. Most of their ideals today are bedrocks of wisdom and knowledge for peace of mankind. |

If you don't have the inferior complex to use them, why not if it fits your choice because you reflected and exercise your own discretion to use them for a purpose? |

Personally, i dont see any problem in using a dictator as an avatar. It just reflects what our society is amde of. To deny its use is to deny its existence in the first place. It should be open to all and we can learn from each other and hopefully have converts than suppressing them underground. |
