Truce is not required as I did not feel like I had any conflict. I am no expert but I have great interest in history and I am familiar with both empire to recognize their distinguished differences. For example, I have been to former capital city of Mali Empire.

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

OK no conflict just an ingrained difference of ideas,if you want to tell of your journey and what you saw there, I would be interested.

Come on, Toubab! .... it was about racism from the beginning.? Or do you really believe this could have happened to anybody, - a "genuine" Frenchwoman?

Turk/Kiwi

well said. the double standards are just silly. imagine if the Zimbabwe Police had gone to evict a some while folks from a farm, and a pregnant white woman was handle in this way or a white woman was dragged on top of her baby.

ofcourse we they woudl be accused of implementing Mugabe's ''RACIST'' policies and the British PM , US SOS would probably be playing to the electorates issuing statements.

of course in this case is a blakc woman, so nothing from No. 10 or DC.

the actions of the Police originate from the polices of a racist Interior Minister called Sarkozy who has become President Toubab. that the point.

its like Sherrif Appaio in Arizona making it to the White House, and later on you see Mexicans immigrants being shot at at the Border.
Dont blame it on Police brutality, wake up

"the actions of the Police originate from the polices of a racist Interior Minister called Sarkozy who has become President"

"Dont blame it on Police brutality," I never used those words I wrote "bad police behaviour",you will agree that the police are under the control of their political masters and as such must obey orders, but the level of control used on this occasion appears to be over the top.

Otherwise you have made a valid point.
