Dembish I am glad to hear that you have a your own business, however you still have to pay taxes. Where do you think they go? Answer to the APRC government therefore according to your logic you should shut up shop and sit down on ass and be workless. karamba bark at the moon and old loud barrels come to mind.

Sister Omega, I have total respect for your rights to personal opinion but seriously disagree with your mode of deception and deviation. Calling names is not enough. Challenge the issues.

Your patron Jammeh is no lesser criminal. He physically broke Gambian laws. Lang Tombong and others as alleged simply attempted to overthrow a regime set on illegal foundation. Say if that is not true.

Serious thinkers my ass. What the hell are you on we've got dumb dumber and dumbest representing the so called thinkers. These so called thinkers cannot differeient between a Head of State, Politicial Party, Judiciary and the Media. They also confuse a blog as a news media website. Delusional my ass. Heads of State come and and Heads of State go but the country always remains. There are Thinkers, Pragmatics, and Reflectors. You can think all day and not manifest a single thought. It is actions that speaks louder than words and right now guys tell us what actions are you committed to contribute to the sustainable development of our grandchildren's children in Gambia?

Okay prince I will stop monkey see monkey do business. Okay this will be a quick lesson , Lets say 1+1=2, Anyone found guilty of a coup will be sentenced to death, whether they succeeded or not is not the issue at hand. The question goes back to did they try to commit a coup? if the answer is yes am assuming you already know that it is justifiable to have them shot not even hung. They are military personnel and know exactly what they swore to uphold and what the punishment for mutiny is if you fail. in reference to the Jammeh's coup that was successful Karamba, due to every Gambians effort and collaboration which I will get into later. They were granted immunity or else their fate would have been the same. If Jammeh out of the fact that they share something in common such as a coup plot, decides that they deserve to be forgiven thats up to him but the fact remains, they were not successful to an extent that the law would make provisions assuring their safety and immunity, Now they are up for grabs. According to the law they should be shot..........................................................Peace

Moe, you really don't believe in some of the things you argue. You just throw some of this stuff out here to stir up the pot and crank up people like...

Your ideas are soooo foreign that, sometimes, i'm tempted to ask for your "permit."

The crux of this matter is whether or not the Lang and Co should face the Death Penalty or have their sentences commuted to life imprisonment. I would presume correct me if I am wrong that the Defence Lawyers will launch an appeal to overturn the verdict and if it is unsuccessful then they will have to ask the president for Calmancy to change the decision as other commentors have already mentioned.

Nyari you mean Moe is an "adept" fella instead of your poorly chosen word "inept". I did not run away trust me on this. The regular derailers just ruined it all. From a death sentence to "lets make sister Omega the subject of discussion. This is Bantaba and I have a tendency of following a trend from kings. King Turk said if the issues are not associated with the topic ,open a new thread. Of course we can start a thread on Omega and I plan to defend her cause to the end, all you have to do is initiate the subject. This is Bantaba no one is above scrutiny.

lets try to get this discussion back in order Karamba " E Daaa Sorong" okay. If you cannot stay focused just start retarded threads we kinda like reading stupid stuff, just stop derailing this topic.

This is not about sister Omega or Moe taking up jobs with the State anyways, U fools still don't know how to start new threads am guessing. Confused people try to associate things that are not associated to make a point. What the Fck does jammeh's so called evil tendencies have to do with a failed attempted military coup?

Unless Omega wants to be the subject of discussion lets talk about the coupist that just got sentenced for a planned coup, When it comes to attempts to over throw the State, You do not have to wait till it's implement to charge the culprits as long as there is evidence to ascertain the facts.

Facts:
1.Gambia has a death Penalty in Place.
2.They were charged and found guilty of an attempted coup.
3.Military men know what the charge for mutiny is .
4.Testimonies were derived from fellow coupist associated with the 2006 attempt.
5.There were testimonies from unscrupulous individuals.
6.These men were all associated with the CDS Lang.
7.Am really getting bored so if ya'll want this discussion to go any further lets stick to substance as Nyari stated.
8. Lang was associated with Kukoi his cousin.
9.Lang supposedly single handedly stopped the attempted coup in 2006
10.The same people lang helped convict testified his involvement.
11.What did Lang Promise the failed coupist in 2006.
12.Langs adopted son who stole 30,000 from him and was only beaten testified in his involvement.
14.Rui Gassama also testified
15. Whether the testimonies derived were from unscrupulous individual is irrelevant. The fact is ther was over whelming evidency pointing to an attempte coup.

Whether some of the evidence was circumstantial, and due to the weakness of the investigative body within the region there is no doubt in my mind that these men were all associated with the so called crime Kukoi included.

FJC,
Baba jobe
Lang Tombong,
Kawsu Camara
Daba Marenah
Yankuba Touray
Ablie Kujabi,
Essa Badgie

I will tell you what the following people represent. As Turk stated and elaborated on earlier, they are Typical Gambians and products of our very own society. None of us is any different from what these people represent. Jesus's involvement in the Armed robberies within Banjul even led to the death of a police officer but it is nothing new in our society, the very people you entrust will betray you and look you in the face or possibly castigate you at the end, Jawara's regime suffered the same fate. How did Commercial bank lose almost 200 million under the watch of competent individuals. Let me reassure ya'll are The people I am scared of in Gambia really it is not the State but my very own brothers and sister's. I simply understand why slavery was so prevalent within the region and so successful. There should be a blood type J, newly discovered by Moe.If you wanna make me the subject of discussion Dembish start a new thread inbred..............................................Peace

I was there for 5 months recently and my return will remain unknown to "Tann's" and "Bahonge's". Trust me you do not have to be out of Gambia to be a Gambian. Deeply entrenched roots prevents man from straying away. The roots festival you elaborated on is of great magnitude and relevance my friend.Nothing the likes of it ever existed unlike what the foolish Niuminka's try to tell you that it was stolen from them. The fact is Roots based on Alex Haleys depiction was false. Alex haley was not related to Kunta Kinteh. Alex Haley was a man who stole the story of Kunta Kinteh from Juffureh,No one can ascertain if Kunta ever left Gambia or if he was eaten by wild animals or enslaved. Alex Haley admitted to the fact the story was not true. The newly established roots festival represents something completely different .Ask your politicians opinions and all of them seem to agree highlighting the African culture is of essence. You Dembish are a no Body lets stick to the facts of the Coupist.............................................Peace ..............................................Peace

The worst Gambian one can find is the old gizzard or might I say bastaards. No shame what so ever, Why is it that hopeless retards resort to threats when all fails. God cannot expose me cos I can be whatever when ever kinda like a chameleon. Gambians have no shame especially the relics of history. How old are you suppose to be Dembish or are you gonna go report again you old foolish ignoramus try me, the older the MF the more hopeless he is when it comes to incompetent fools.................................................................Peace

Guys! Guys! enough on sister O now. Let's show tolerance to dissent and divergent views no matter how ludicrious they might be. You know; we can't have sister O flapping around trying to counter barraige of criticisms up to the point of using the word 'ass' in reference to herself. Something is gone wrong here, guys. But you know what? Sister O is our big sister and she deserves our respect no matter what. Her debating points have already being diluted. So lets keep it cool and let her breath. Otherwise, we stand being accused of bullying, and that is quite serious. So please back off, guys.

Regards

I know that I wrote I would stay out of this "domestic" interchange of ideas,Moe,I agree with others that you often post stuff that can easily be disagreed with, but on this occasion, your words (from an outsiders perspective) are from the heart and I agree with those words.Except perhaps for the inbred bit.
Sorry for the intrusion.
