OJ said Agenda 2011 is Halifa's personal agenda, not NADD not anything else.
Thanks

| That is O.J.'s opinion, it is not a fact. We have ran a survey on that question before and the majority of the responents did not agree with O.J.'s statement. |

Well OJ is an executive member of NADD. So if he says something like this, that means the so-called Agenda 2011 is not adopted by NADD too. Remember, in NADD, decisions are based on unanimity. In any case, Halifa's Agenda 2011 will never be the basis for a coalition of all opposition parties. You can take that from me and regardless of whatever your so-called survey tells you. No need to explain. I have done that before.
Thanks |

Well Halifa has offered a suggestion-a pathway for the country to move forward. Whether it sells or not is besides the point. O.J never said he was speaking on behalf of NADD. He could only have been speaking his personal opinion. One thing that is also certain, my friend, your idea of a "party (UDP)-led coalition" will not be the basis for a coalition of all opposition parties. You will be lucky if you even have NRP (Hamat Bah) on board this time. Mark my words! Either you embrace "Agenda 2011" or be prepared for many more years of APRC. The opposition cannot win divided... |

I commend Halifa for his foresight as always. I think he is genuinely putting forward ideas that are very good for the opposition as a way forward. It is very disheartening for some of the pretenders to dismiss it outright without coming up with ideas.
However, I found the suggession of using a primary to pick candidates to be very impractical and problematic. Most importantlY, it could confuse more and more voters who have a hard time comprehending why a coalition should be formed in the first place. It is also going to be very costly to do a primary statewide where the voters are going to be involved. You can bet on it that the IEC is not going to help them set up any primaries.
My unsolicited advice is everybody cast aside what ever differences they have and revive the original premisis on which NADD was formed. Pick a candidate and make it NADD against APRC. Anything sort than that, may JAMMEH win. |

You are APRC anyway. So it doesn't matter what you say. You sing Jammeh's praises just like Every Mbaye of Banjul.
