In one of my threads I asked the question does Gambia have a minister for tourisum. As there was no replies I assumed no one knew.
So Im happy to let everybody know that indeed there is her name is Mass Jobe-Njle who recently convened an emergency meeting with tourist stake holders to assess the situation regarding the effects of the volcano ash clould stopping 2087 tourists comming to Gambia.
At the end of the meeting it was agreed to set up a emergency responce team to look into the issue. Not that I think they could do much the fact was the tourists couldnt come period.
During this meeting a brain storming session took place on making the Gambia an all year round tourist destination and for the GTA and its main line ministry to oganise a mega entertainment programme for the industry So there it is as I have said before the key is Entertainment Entertainment Entertainment.
From this brain storming session no idears were reported so dont know what ideas they came up with if any?
