Put in different ways, the merciless exploitation of public labour by the president is morally and economically degrading. If Yaya was so serious about farming, he would not have robbed the nation by staging a coup. Worst of all, this deceitful scheme of mass exploiting makes Yaya no less than any con man.

Some of these propagandist are smoking some really good stuff.
"The Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, who is also the country's first farmer...."

What are they calling our ancestors who toiled the soil since time immemorial?

6000 people could not harvest the farms, how large are these farms?

"When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty."

Prince,

In the pin-hole perception of Yaya Jammeh and those blindly fooling around him, The Gambia is a new discovery of 21st Century Armed Force Revolutionary. To them Gambia had no history and the journey began just on 22 July 1994 with emergence of Yaya in arms.

Yaya is so full of lust he wants to bear all names and all titles. "First Farmer", where is someone coming from with such lame views?

There is no doubt Yaya Jammeh is bent on destroying Gambia, and so he shall do. Something is very seriously wrong with this president. How can a normal person seek to possess everything with others singing and clapping to crown him as being "all-in-one" dictator of development. Yes, he has gone far enough to corrupt dictatorship and boasting of dictator with additional title as he extends lustful grabbing. Gambia is in serious trouble.

Kobo,

On larger scale of deception, Yaya hooks up people by extension of jobs in the name of his commercial ventures. To a point, he ends up submerging them in some form of financial waters as they get entangled in his net of scandals.

Thanks for this informative link.

Is labour voluntary/private or for national development If these farms are for national development, they should be declared as state farms and army involved in partnership with Department of Agriculture; for there is enough manpower labour at army & police to mobilse harvest and keeping of these farms

The ways and manners this president cheats cannot be put in words. What is happening in Gambia amounts to slave labour. Civil servants go to the president's farm to keep their pockets. Similar reasons apply in the case of many others. This president is the most cunning thief in Gambia's history. He steals everything in every way. Next don't be surprised when it comes to the turn of Gambia Blind Association working on the president's farms.

Mr President, you are a thief and cruel exploiter of people. Stop it.
