Karamba
one. Sri Lankan Rebel Leader is seperatist. Opposition. I could not established the relationship with Jammeh and him.
two. It is disappointing that you rooting the violent end for Jammeh, the president of the Gambia. I thought you were advocating democratic change. no?

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Turk I presume what Karamba means is that "if you live by terror, you die by terror" just like if you live by the gun you die by the gun as it is often said. Certainly the Chairman has and continues to kill, maim, and violate the freedom and rights of too many Gambians all for the flimsy excuse of "national development". Anyone who attended St. Augustine's High during the 80s will perhaps remember the incredibly gifted math teacher Mr. Abubakar from Sri Lanka. The end of my fifth year coincided with the end of his teaching contract (I think they used to call them expatriate teachers then)and he cried at the prospect of his return to his native Sri Lanka. He used to talk about the peace in the Gambia as compared to the civil war raging in his country. That is how long Sri Lanka has been bleeding. That is how long Sri Lanka has lived under terror (for a quarter century by rebels who at the height of their power thought they were invincible), and now those (rebels) who lived by the sword have died by the sword. Another lesson for our Leviathan to learn from ... |

Regardless. Jammeh should be brought down during the democratic process. More than half of Gambians are supporting him. I can only tolerate violance fighting against foreign occupier. The question is: if Karamba would speak against any violent attempt against Jammeh? Or would Kayjatta?

Kay,
That is exactly the truth. It does not matter if Jammeh soaks himself in a sea of acid water, nothing cleans his dirty deeds. The fellow is a bloody killer who has his end like other killers.
Turk, this is not a way of conveying wicked wish for Jammeh's tragic end. It is simply a clear view of what history provides wicked persons in leadership positions. Where is Nino??? Where are others from around the globe???
Jammeh has to stop playing tricks and take advantage of calm times for decent exit from a role he shamelessly robbed. Wicked !!! |
