The so-called coup plotters statements and legalities.

We are preparing an indept analysis including the findings we have nade regarding the interview with the so-caaled coup plotters, some of which have been obtained from an interogating offiicer who participated in the drill.

You can observe for yourself that they were reading from a board that was sometimes held high and sometimes low.

The voices you mentioned are of the officers who were sometimes guiding them and in other instances, through the questionaires they had already been subjected to earlier.

These statements will never hold in any court where justice is functional because they are so fictional that only an unprincipled Jammeh cronny could present them in court.

This is the main reason why they are denied legal representation for the moment.

Possibleamnesty Don't be suprised if he just claim to pardon them before the AU summit inorder to certisfy the leadership of the AU.

Jammeh is very desparate to host the AU Summit and many international institutions are on his head to adhere to legal proceedures in relation to the detainees.

Actions against NADD The whole exercise is to scare the opposition and the public and to create an artificial problem between Gambia and Senegal so that the Gambians could renew support for him as a person. This would be the lever to allow him to rule further. Unfortunately, all his devlish plans have failed.

According to most of his colleagues, his main headache is NADD and particularly Halifa Sallah. He always express that Halifa is the only person capable of removing him from office with the support of the majority of the people. This was why he wanted to eliminate him when they were to be arrested. Halifa was lucky because, Daba Marena refused to obey his orders to eliminate Halifa and O J.

Omar Sey, Yahya Ceesay and Dembo Jatta are also some of the eliments used by the APRC strategic committee to dislodge NADD through the PPP elements. This also is failing as O J, Gunji Touray, Landing Jallow Sonko and their colleagues are steadfast. One of the hypocrits who understand the game that is being played but played a funny game is Dr Nyambey Touray who is agent of Bakary Darboe.

Their are many funny and nasty game that are in the offing and shall be hatched before the presidential elections by this APRC strategic committee.

Casamance confilct: Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Gambia
He send Bajo to tell the Senegalese that, he never accused them as well as Guinea Bissau with whom he is having loads of problems at this monent.

Since the fall of Ansunmana Manneh and the coming back of Nino Vierra, both the hardliners of the Casamance conflict and their backer - Jammeh are facing hard times. Then came the capture of Taylor which created more uncertainty for Jammeh. He is not sure whether he deal he made with the Sierra Leone tribunal when he sacrified Baba Jobe and gave evidence against Taylor would still hold. Specially given the fact that Obasanjo was virtually forced into giving away Taylor. He shall try by all means to stay in power because he thinks that, this is the only way he could be immune to prosecution from the international bodies.

Our advice to the Gambians both at home and abroad is to be vigilant and be steadfast in their resolve to change the country peacefully.

No-one should rush to any reactions but take your time because they always end up exposing themselves.
One thing that is very sad is that a lot of our people at home are political illitrates who are easily manipulated by these crooks. Worst are the ones who are un-employed and living with families who cannot even afford a correct meal a day.

The country has never been so vulnarable as at this moment. There is no cohesive leadership in the army, the civil service and the APRC is just a rag tag of confused elements without a defined leadership. Most of the potential leaders have been used and discarded by he emperor. There’s no trust within the top party members as they as just temporary leaders without security of continuation.

We may just be happy that the Senegalese leadership (political and military) do understand the situation and are trying their level best to diffuse any potentially dangerous situation with skilled diplomacy.
