Hi, here are the results of the Dutch ....

Sorry girl, know some Gambians over here but fortunately not all of them. Had je oproep ook al op het prikbord gelezen...succes met je zoektocht, he will turn up somewhere (or perhaps he doesn't want to).

Malcolm!! Santanfara, sorry - couldn't stop laughing

indeed kaani, daanwoman elavated me too high. Malcolm was the first person whose biography by Alex Haley i completed reading in a very short space of time. He was a hero. Meme long time no hear you. i even wanted to do a comparison between the Irish dance and the mandingo bush festival dance. they are all very similar. i couldn't do the meself, but both start with a going round a circle and then jumping with legs akinbo. you know what i mean? any way, when less busy i will divulge. i hope kaani have an idea of what am talking about.

Daanwoman, this is what bantaba is all about. you start from A to -AX. but still daan is looking for a lost friend, any little help will do. Toubab, well, i thought the Irish v Mandingo bush dance is to the point. It is a case of Dutch Jazz v Scotish Jazz. or English rock and roll V Jamiacan Raggae. sound clear

Does it look as ridiculous? Legs everywhere, arms ramrod straight, it's hard to keep a straight face. Especially as it's taken so seriously, sort of adds to the hilarity.

I see where you are coming from I think, personally the best Jazz was from the 20's and 30's in America.
