We use to have this problem. What we did was to constantly Shame the male Participants involved. They could not engage, nor socialize with real men. Needless to say... the problem is no more.

HOW MANY TIMES is this link going to be posted on this site? I think all the regular posters must be totally sick of it by now and surely the topic has been discussed to death.
However, I do have one observation. Why are there adverts for African and Chinese women on the site? Seems like double standards to me. |

I cannot answer the question as to how many more time the link will be posted, however your thinking that regular posters must be sick of it, does not translate to this being so..... meaning regular posters are sick of it. Thirdly whether the topic has been discussed to death can only be determined by the level of responses the thread secure and since this particular thread is quite young, I have to regard conclusion as premature.

Thanks anyway think I got the gist.
I Remember the 80s and 90s well,at Negril, Ocho Rios even my beloved Runnaway bay. I have to say that there was an 'honesty' surrounding this phenomena. The woman never tried to defend the stance by averting the argument to... 'what about the men??' which seems a commonality with the women who have their 'Gambian experiences'.
Also this paved the way for the Hedonism hotels, where these men and woman could live out their fantasies away from the mainstream, this would never work in Gambia. Ive not been back for a few years so I'm not sure this problem is eradicated I know other Caribbean Islands now have the same 'problem'. As you say there was a shame, even condemnation from locals of this behavior again this is not the same for Gambia. I don't think its enough for people to depend on the Government or GTA to address this 'problem'. At one times at Ricks place it was ridiculous but they had the foresight to see how this was affecting business as families would stay away. I feel the same about Senigambia wouldn't dream of taking my kids there. |
