I thought it is obvious. For example, boy friends. The illusion that one ordinary feel like she is a Megan Fox for a few weeks getting all the attention from men including bumspters. |
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Okay confession time here... I had no idea who Megan fox was so I google her >>>>Stands in the corner
Very pretty but no amount of imagination would make me think I look like that. |

My point was not about one being look like her. But one getting attention from men like her. Many from Europe loving getting attention from much younger people in gambia, it is like heaven. no?

"We have found you to be realistic, quite accomodating, much willing, very sociable, quite tolerable, enthusiastic and quite friendly. These are the qualities of a human beeing, and you have proved it beyond all reasonable doubts. Sometimes it is not easy to pinpoint who is Danish and who is Gambian if not because of the colour difference." - A quote from the visit of Danish teenagers (grade 10 students) who stayed in a village in CRD for 11 days in 1997. A new class has since 1997 been going to Gambia yearly and staying there three weeks. |

Its not only to the Gambia, but the choice to go away from the daily grind of city living....its nice to get away to somewhere thats hot and not raining 24/7 like in Bonnie Scotland........The eating outside factor makes it so appealing too...theres nothing better.....Being able to walk on the beach and not see a dirty nappy/ rubbish/ dogs poo etc .......It's nice to be able to stay somewhere that is completely different to home. Anywhere you can spend a week or two where you dont have to think about bills and work....... |

Personally, I am not much fun of gambian beaches or the other tourist stuff gambia offers. Caribbean, southern/eastern europe have much better ones. What I am interested in gambia, other than my daughter being Gambian, I love the country side. Gunjur, Kartong especially Ginnack Island and Basse and life there is amazing. Hanging out with local, village people, children great. I also like fishing going with pirogue. Senegambia only nice if you want a dinner and some entertainment for a night, but other than than I don't want to be in senegambia/serrekunda which is becaming more and more western that is very materialistic/urban. The interesting communities in country side, different culture very appealing for me. And climate is big plus.

my sentiments entirely, the provinces is most definitely the best the real gambia ,the so-called tourist area senegambia and most of the coastal area is a big big headache and i traveled to lots of other poor countries. but like it or not THE BUMSTERS, spoil it NO EXCUSES... i have heard them all. i avoid them places like the plague, up country or far up the beach thats me and am living there, but i dont think for much longer. am too old now i cannot do with all the crap. my house is FOR SALE... but will still go back occasionally am sure i have seen the best times of gambia. nice to hear your memories jambo its so difficult to help them and we want to all of us am so sure |
