snuggels your flights for winter, ie oct-march for UK flights are well low,
monarch has many flights from regional airports check out webiste, they have at least 5 flights, gatwick, bristol, manchester, midlands

As I said I did some research and got the figures direct from the airlines.
I phoned each one, and asked the question of how many flights a week they have flying to the gambia in the summer season and is it different for the winter.
If the figures I was told are wrong like the tourist figures who or what are you to belive.

THE FOLLOWING IS A COPY OF THEIR E-MAIL DIRECTLY TO ME....
Gambia has maintained some sinificant impression on the arrival of tourist
in the past season.
with regards to the figures from 2005 we registered 107,904, whiles in 2006
a significant changes occure with totat record score of 124,800 and in
2007 we scored 142,626 in summary we are creating lot of impact in terms
of tourist arrivals in the Gambia.
The reasons behind the sucess is nothing but the product and servives we
offer to visitors.We have cooperate poliy that is to manintained the
Gambia as a first class tourist destinations in Africa.

The figures and increase for the year 2007 of 142626 look very enccouraging. Bearing in mind 22680 tourists supposedly came in the winter month of November. Which leaves only 10,905 each month for the rest of the year
Im not optomistic for the 2008 figures as previously stated this year the bars and restaurants were noticeably quieter than last year and this is befor the full inpact of this years devalued dalasi.
Time will tell |

you also have to believe that they are not inflating their figures for obvious reasons
