| The way i see this forum is that whilst some of our country men and women faced severely traumatic experiences at the hands of the state apparatus , we too can afford to take some beating here , if the worst we can get is insults I for one will take that as not worrisome . People have sacrificed their lives for their country and and getting insulted for standing up against tyranny should be okay by contrast.So keep it flying if that will satisfy you Moe. What you say is quite correct I think that posters like "MOE" have this confusion that discussion is just about putting diametrically opposed views to those views held by reasonable posters thereby creating friction just to satisfy his (or her's) need for such conflict,Its a bit like a war game,but hey......... who am I to say I am not an expert on the way the brain works! This happens every so often on Bantaba when things are flat and there are no "sharp" discussions going on about religon or politics. I have tried posting on local intrest topics and got not one response.

The confusion stems from errors of reading the PERSON rather than reading the IDEAS. Trust this, when we all settle on relating to ideas, Bantaba and similar outlets will remain massively utilised with rich blend of useful interplay. Yes, we have to focus on ideas even if such ideas are generated by the person(s) we disagree with most. There is a limit to which we are able to hit on individual persons. With ideas, it takes a life time to exhaust the wider scopes.
