Magistrate Laments Lack Of Transport
By Fabakary B. Ceesay

Magistrate Kayode Olagubutu has expressed his concern over the lack of transport allocated to him to facilitate his coming to court at the Banjul Magistrates Court.
Magistrate Kayode made this remark recently at the court before the Director of Public Prosecutions, Messrs Emmanuel O. Fagbenle and lawyer Lamin S. Camara. This situation arose when the two counsels decided to adjourn a particular case to another date and on a particular time. Kayode told the parties that his problem in coming to court and going back home is always due to transport difficulties. He told the parties that he sometimes finds it very difficult to get a transport to come to court early and get back home on time. He advices the parties not to agree on a time too early or too late for him.
