Jambo - they must have seen bantaba postings recently and got themselves confused as to which improvements were needed at the airport.

I would like to see our airport develop to high standards and that would require huge financial investment. So I welcome the development in these regards . I pray that the monies raised would be properly utilized and that the project enjoys a successful end.I only fear that some of us would not be welcomed back but then we shall enjoy seeing beautiful pictures of our national airport and wonderful reviews of its beautiful features on the Internet. What cannot be helped must be endured 'ere you go mate !

On a more serious note from my previous posting, having watched the progress of the new terminal from field to its present buildings it is welcome news that improved facilities for their emergency services are within their plans. The last time I made enquires about Major Incident Procedures or training exercises there were none written up or undertaken! Furthermore an Officer who had previously made the notion to have an incident plan drawn up had been told, we know what to do.
Really?
Have you been in a road accident on the Gambia Highways?

Kaanibaa - I pray your return will be soon - peaceful and happy - no more looking from afar.

Now at least they could buy some benches for waiting passengers or visitors.
