Arrogance over shadows ones objectivity in a debate or a simple chat over coffee. If anyone think they have monopoly or exceptional skills in intepretation of the law, one is often blinded and expose by ones ill education or understanding of the issue at hand.
Nyarikang is such an arrogant kid that whatever topic, whoever he debates with he end up using foul language and therefore manifest his hatred and anger.
After reading the foroyaa take on Chief bojang one can simply conclude that conflict of interest in relevant in the case. An appointed chief who absolutely displays bias and monopolize the law as must be questioned. His integrity in presiding over such cases is absolutely relevant.
You know he was a political expert, a self proclaimed statistician, and now taking up law. Mark you little arrogant kid interpretation of the law is the most subjective and vague. Even the supreme courts of the most advance democracies in the world find it absolutely challenging to interpret the law. Sometimes they screw it big time and that is why they vote to desent on a case.
So you cannot interpret the literal meaning of sentences or words in a case and base your judgement on those. You must look at other circumstance as well. You don't have to be an expert in Law to understand this and certainly I am not even near to that end.
So watch him reduce himself to rubbish in this topic like any other.
As for Halifa may be you can issue a challenge to him while he is in the UK and see how you measure up to him. Go meet him one on one and ask him questions.
Shaka is indeed wasting his time debating a dilusional self righteous, monopolistic and even politically bankrupt childish mind in a man's body.
We shall go after you until you grow out of your immoral and hatred attitude. |

It is not a matter of preferance but a matter of factual representation. Moreover, it is not the quote you wear but your true conscience towards seeing unity flourish. In as much as we debate here to agree or disagree, there is still a need not to misrepresent facts or individuals.
Other wise, just so you know, I read your postings and share a great deal of your thoughts -just peel off the part that need be. It is indeed a shared struggle. Demba has nothing against you, so is Halifa or sidia Jatta. It looks like you are stocked somewhere: That is to pin a blame that never be. sometimes, you have to grease and loosen some rusty screws. Gambia's problem is bigger than our individual interest. The greater picture is we are all Gambians and on it in our own little efforts.
In reply to your mention of UGAMA, you got it entirely wrong. Don't stoop so low next time because it can be easily put in its right place -not even far-fetched. It was the most transparent endeavor where participants whole-heartedly realized the need for unity because of the differences that be. We had one e-mail that was accessible by all.
Three of the UGAMA coordinators: Saihou Mballow, Ebrima Dibba and kemo janneh are attached to the UDP.
Burama Jammeh doesn't recognize party affiliation but I suspect he is a sympathizer to the UDP but holds great love and respect for Halifa Sallah. Infact, he is a close associate to both karamba & Saihou Mballow.
Are you honest/clever enough to see where this place you now? This is just the honest truth. i believe people have a right to know, not with twisted historical facts -that's a blas'my, so un-Godly, gross, unacceptable, hypocritical and deceitful.
You are more than welcome to engage in a healthy dialogue, or should you have any questions, feel free to ask in a spirit of getting the facts right.
Don't take it personal any longer. This is just my humble & honest observation. Also, should you desire, you are more than welcome for an open dialogue with me on the phone or we can make it an open dialogue. Personally, i believe that everyone counts in ours -the struggle. Don't underestimate the little you thread here because it can change the lives of so many people.
I rest my case!

What a report. But there is nothing new here I have addressed the essence of this report to you before, that whenever it is deemed that the government may have a vested interest in a case, under the safeguards provided by the principle of natural justice, the Lord Chancellor does not preside but that does not bar him from being a judge. This safegaurd are not static especially with the come in of Article 6 of the European Convention of Human Rights which guarantees the right to fair trial. What your Ayatollah have said was an overstatement. There is no doubt about that. There is no suggestion in this report that the existance or creation of the office of the Lord Chancellor itself contravanes natural justice. As I said, this doctrine has its own safeguards and for centuries, Britain have relied on this safeguards to protect and preserve the independence of their judicial, one of the best in the world.
I hope it will not be necessary for me to reproduce what I have said before.
Anyway, pls be informed that the Lord Chancellors' office is now technically abolished because Gordon Brown decided to chose a Justice Minister from the House of Commons instead of the Lords as traditionally done. This is permissable under the British political system. A minister can be chosen from either houses of parliament but the House of Commons have no judicial functions. So Jack Straw, the new Justice Minister, although a trained barrister, is not technically qualified to preside as a judge.
Good research though. Thanks for your time and for thinking by yourself |
