The way forward
As far as I am concerned, right now, Gambians should strategize a strong force that will bring all Gambians together. That force is capable of sending Jammeh parking before the elections are at the corner, though this sounds like an over-optimist’s point of view, but that is obvious. We all have a common problem. Even those long time Jammeh supporters are getting into their snail shells because their family members are victims of this monstrous crumbling tyranny.
It is my firm belief that the same evil hand that brought Jammeh to power will be the same hand that will remove him. He is so intoxicated with power that he will not leave voluntarily. Whatever it takes, that should be the focus. Democracy means a peaceful advocacy. You asked your self and keep tainting your mind about peaceful advocacy that will rain to Gambians like the Israelis mercy of food in the early days of creation. It is not going to happen. Someone somewhere would have to poke his intestines the same way he is poking that of others. This is not a violent stance. It is a stance that will rescue all of us, including Jammeh himself who is not in his right state of mind. They will again say he is preparing minds for a violent march. I do not believe in it except in a state of emergency rescue, such as can be termed as self-defense. We would have to stand-up for it.
But it is as well fair to speculate that a percentage of Gambians like the status quos, the same way that a percentage of Gambians contributed to our predicament. Until you or your family member is a victim, you don’t give a damn about where the ship of the state is going to capsize. For some of the others whose family members has been victims and still keep kissing that stinky ass, I say to you keep being in the dark .The sooner you realize the common problem, the better we all stand as a people with a problem.

Dalton,
I totally concur with you in that Jammeh will never quit his new-found supremacy nonviolently, but only through the same manner he removed Jawara from power—force. It will take us decades to remedy his sicken policies and blatant destruction of our home. Given the wisdom shown by just members of this small forum, it defy commonsense that Jammeh, the most unschooled and unwise among us, become our leader. A leader who does not only mismanage our common resources, but also uses his position to terrorize those he perceives to be his enemy. How many Gambian have gone missing and or killed by Jammeh and his cronies? How many Gambians have been stripped of their constitutional rights?
All indications are that he will never head off power voluntarily, he must be forced out. The sooner we realize this better for the Gambia. Jammeh is so entrenched in power so much so that he cannot be defeated by any opposition party or candidate through elections. It is not impossible to convincingly argue that Jammeh's rule is a disaster for the country, but that Jammeh will not allow a free and fair election to take place. He has made his associates believe or at least pretend to believe that he has supernatural powers and that no one has any power to harm him. Worst still, they believe that if anyone attempt, or even contemplate opposing him, his demons would tell him in advance and such we all know what the likely repercussion would be. Sadly, a good percentage of Gambians are blinded and misled by Jammeh into believing that he is their only source of happiness and peace. Some would obey Jammeh’s command and disobey that of the state and God.
Let rise up and get rid of this lunatic. We have to do it for our selves and by ourselves through our hands; no one else will do it for us.

Bro. Brikama,
Strong wording. I am wondering when will we reach to that mold?
But the joke of the century is that the devils are at loose, out to get his perceived enemies; the kind of fear-monger that will make one vomit. The oracles won't stop making demands, to please the demons. Many are getting vindicated with all these coming to light now.
The gossip for a long time that a young girl without teats was the demand of the oracle, and the ritual was observed as well, to pillar the administration on the ground, unshakable. Any one here able to authenticate this?
Read aya Kursiyu, surah nas and falag. amen.
