Hello every body once again i give you another story. This about a certain customs official attached to Amdalai Border post. One day he went to Essau village where a wrestling contest was organized. As usual these are grand combats and the champions from the outlying villages would come accompanied by their local supporters with drumming dancing and songs praising their past victories. The event is a night time activity and the lightening is provided by the fires lit from logs and branches of dead wood. That day our man came on a lady chasing mission as is usual because the meet provides a very good venue for such escapades. As it was to be at night he came in the early evening and to pass the time , he decided to imbibe in the consumption of a local brew called caanah. Now this is a very potent drink fiery would not be enough as an adjective to describe its potency. Our man however ignored all cautions against heavy consumption and took put upon pot of the said drink. He without any doubt became seriously drunk there after. Well to cut a long story , he heard the drums beating and rushed to the Bantaba to join the fun. The earlier combats were normally for the light weights. As he stood watching ,our man saw a very thin wrestler grab his opponent and swung him around like a feather and threw him to the ground. The winner of that bout was picked up by his supporters one of whom carried him sat astride his shoulders to do the dance of honor and victory accompanied by the beautiful girls .This made our man in is drunken state decide to join the competition. He informed a lady nearby and asked her to provide the pagne, a wrapper for him.She obliged and removed a woven one which she had with her then. Our man got himself dressed and jumped into the ring and challenged the previous winner of the last bout; the thin frail man. What he did not know was that, indeed this man is small but like they in wollof'Barra sewna wonteh wengh lah, the rod might be small but it is metal. This man was a champion in his own right and no push over.Any way people standing by looked at our man and noticed that he was certainly drunk and decided to advice him against wrestling under his current state. He brushed them off and went into the ring loudly calling for his opponent to come out and be finished. He shouted 'Kaye ma rhayela laygi laygi!'The man came out and they had their bout;this was according to witnesses the quickest they ever saw. He ;the challenger grabbed the opponent and flung him but somehow the thin man clung on to him .Instead of falling down he managed to stand on his feet whilst still holding onto our man and in turn flicked him in a special wrestling throw called bussulu;an overhead throw. Our man fell flat to the ground and stayed there. The champion once again was hoisted on the shoulders of his supporters and they danced around the ring. All this while, our man lay down not moving a muscle;one spectator who did not know him asked 'where does our challenger come from then ?' Our man replied 'Suwokono,' meaning home. This question was repeated several times but he kept giving the same answer. He was dragged to the back of the crowd and undressed. Thus ended our mans quest for a lady for the night , he crawled away and tried to get back to his house in AMDALAI. Well the end of the story is that what our man did not know was that a witness of the said bout also came from the said post and waited to meet him the next day. When he came to the office he challenged him about what had happened the night before but our man denied it happened. The witness never the less decided to tell all and sundry about the story and from that day our man reacts to the word 'Suwokono' He would grab any one who utters the word in his presence and demand a retraction as if he was insulted.

Good story no offence taken it is quite usual on Bantaba in cyberspace for stories to have hidden meanings ( a bit like parables in the Bible)in future stories that you write will be taken on their face value,no offence from me intended. yes and it is Brrrrrrrrr as you say!
