i was introduce to tea with ginger this days and i am enjoying it.all you do is make your tea and add ginger powder to it and mix it .it gives a different taste.ginger powder can be bought at many corner shops for about 60pence or $1 .it is very nice.or you can also add milk .

Ginger is well known for it´s anti inflammatory action in joints and therefore recommendable for those suffering from rheumatism. It also helps support one´s circulation and is a good source of antioxidant as well as it relieves gastric problems. |

Sorry Santanfara, I didn't know that you had all the problems outlined by Kiwi, I thought that you just liked the taste

Toubab1020, you are funny! I was and when i read your posting. But seriously, it is nice when one can combine the useful (combatting all these 'ailments') with the pleasant (enjoying the taste of the tea'medicine'). It's better than having to swallow some bitter pill or other......... |

Drinking ginger tea will protect Santanfara from being afflicted with these and several other illnesses! After a long month of fasting this is an enjoyable start. I myself started drinking ginger tea only a few weeks ago as I already have some of these illnesses. I like the taste. |

ginger is very warming and good for you people in europe coping with the cold weather. it is very good for the circulation.
the best way to have it is to boil pieces of fresh ginger in a pot of water. you don't have to have actual tea in it, rather you can make your own herbal tea with just the ginger. but the powder is also a good way to have it. in india they have masala tea which is black tea with a mixture of spices: ginger, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. they drink it with milk and it is delicious. |
