Good point there, Kobo. Corr has a responsibility to explain the source of a huge sum as that. Often, custodians of public funds play money games in different ways. Some of them pass big sums to business friends at short or long intervals (usually between audit periods.) Once the auditors are gone, the game resumes. The same business people induce public officer with confidence that when auditors come, they will rescue the situation. If Corr is part of that game, he deserves punishment. |
