Babylon at what age could you be grannie?

My mother was 36years when she became a grandmother - I was 37 in full time work & trying to get cookies perfect..a long time ago!
but I remember when I thought 37 was very old.....

My grannie was 94 today!

I am only 46...a baby!

The whole point of western feminism was for women to be free from the stereotypes of age. Even if I live to be 100 I won't be baking cookies or knitting!

I will be following my grandmas example, which is hop on the bus and get in the city where the living are living.

I will also be dying my hair.

One doesnīt actually have to be a granny to look like a granny... One can be 25 and still walk and talk and look like a granny. Another one can be 47 and be young looking and pretty. Those hags I saw in the documentary all belong in Jurassic park! Scary looking hoochie mamas in all ages that give people nightmares... and they go out clubbing and say "Oh, here in Gambia the boys donīt care how old or ugly you are, they like everybody, I feel like the queen of Gambia!" when they should stay at home baking cookies... Because that is what they do best and where they look best..
Muhahaaa

Babylon, those grandmas are sickening, but what about all the dirty old men in Gambia? I remember when I went back on my last visit, two old Germans where queueing behind me at the airport, boasting with their sex adventures with young Gambian girls. It was disgusting, shameless and ignoble. I was so angry, I was close to boxing those ugly old billygoats' ears. But I just made some loud remarks about certain people, who should have an occasional look into their passports because they seem to forget their birthdates, and an occasional look into the mirror, too. They stopped their talk immediately.

Maybe the reason why they didn't show Mbour or Kap Skirring, the Senegalese capitals of sex tourism, in this video is because it is originally from French TV, and they didn't want to encourage French women to go on sex holidays in a French speaking country. For many French the language is a certain barrier.

Really I agree with you but hey....life is a little short and when you (not you personally)get wrinkley then I feel that you can take risks, as your short time here is slipping quickly away.

Serenata, that is just as sick! Old men arenīt better, no way. Itīs even more gross! Halfbald, bear bellied with a red tan makes me wanna throw up as well.
For gods sake, why canīt these ppl respect themselves and realize that they are ridiculous as hell. When you have reached a certain age you should know better than to make a fool out of yourself.
Ppl (yes, me in particular Iīll be the first one to admit) are laughing and pointing fingers at them...

All the "queens (and kings)of Gambia" should check themselves before they wreck themselves... And have they ever heard of things like AIDS? This one lady in the doc. said she has two boyfriends..

Hey ho...

Babylon, who old are you? What age do you consider old?

My Grandma is 94 and still doesn't think she's old!!! But she does behave respectably. She is an 'old fashioned' Christian.

What is old? Well, I think that when you turn 40 you should start behaving like a grown up. Meaning: coming down to earth, keep your feet on the ground, THINK, look decent (dress your age, not in your daughters pink miniskirt because you dont look good in it) be respectful (especially to yourself) and things like that. Maybe even start to bake a cookie or two..
One thing is for sizzle; You no longer belong on the clubscene, if you still wanna go be prepared to meet young people who think you are a dinosaur. No need to get hurt over that fact. Whatīs real is real, you aint the bomb anymore.
