You welcome and Thanks to you both ,Serenata / Jambo for sharing with me this pleasures. It is a real joys for us because they has being waiting for this moment about 8 1/2 yrs which is unusual for African men without jumping to next wife. there has being so many pressure from the man side particular on the poor wife since it is always the women fault when she cant bear + some reasons like that she dont comes from the families or tribes &&& . Like our saying goes "dont stand under the oak tree in Summer and believing that its dead while forgetting that its not a rain season" So their rain season just has begon and am praying that it will not stop. Waiting for a endurance healthy-long life you most be patience .

Mbay, how many tears and quarrels could be avoided if people would realize that in case of infertility both partners need to be checked!! In my Gambian family is a couple, both in their mid-thirties, who waited for children almost as long as your friends did. Believe it or not: Though the wife has a daughter from her first marriage, she was taken responsible, and her husband - normally a very nice man who loves his wife - was in danger of taking a second wife. I was very angry when I heard this and proposed that he should go to a doctor. Still they don't have children, but the relationship is good again, and he didn't marry a second wife. |

Mbay as I read your list I know many daughters who are named after those great Queens of Africa. I named my younger sister Nefertari after Queen Nefertari which means "She who the sun shines for." Queen Nefertari was married to Rameses the Great.
Peace

Sorry to correct you, Sister, but Nefertari means 'The most beautiful' (nefer = beauty, beautiful; another important Egyptian queen was Echnaton's wife Nefertiti, whose name means 'the beauty that has come'). Anyway Nefertari is a very beautiful name, I love it. |
