| In clear simple words, this is a government that is just there to feed on the economy without feeding the economy. Another way of putting it is that the economy is sick to coma and Dr Yahya is not letting competent hands to deliver while he fails delivering as required. This is only a start. It does not take administrative or military orders to move an economy. Moving a state economy is not realised by arresting currency dealers, forcing business people to arrest price rise etc. Where are the strategic options to absorb the shocks? What amount of self pride is keeping Yahya not to surrender when he knows his greatest success is killing the national economy? Above all political jives, this is now real life for Gambians. |
