Try Afgani tea, or 'green tea' bags. my favorite, and keeps you warm and active.

Ataya?

Santanfara,

You, Kondorong and the Lemon, have still not obtained some of the Kanilai Special for me. What kind of brotherhood is that? Is it for Gambians only?

The French connoisseurs confess to wine in their round table after dinner discussions of the various qualities. For most Swedes it’s coffee from Jamaica and for us stiff upper lip British bred specialists it’s cricket and tea and the loss of Empire.

Cups of tea Santanfara:

“The first sip is joy.
The second is gladness
The Third is serenity
The fourth is madness and
The fifth is ECSTASY !”

This time, you are asking the right person, the right question.

When we were closest neighbours in Stockholm city, one of the events that I used to look forward to was my best friend Demba calling me, on the spur of the moment to invite me to a session of some GUNPOWDER – you know the tea, a Chinese variety.

Well on any summer day I’d pick up the phone and I’d hear him say,” I’m about to have some gunpowder. Would you like to come over?”

Nowadays ( after 911) just imagine if your phone is tapped – cause you are Muslim- and the man hears one say to the other ” GUNPOWDER!” ( enough to get the anti-terrorist squad excited)

Or at Heathrow customs asking” What’s that you have there in your bag " (Gunpowder) makes them want to bring back Guy Fawkes and hang him together with Bin Ladin.

Well, Demba has his method, a way of bringing the gunpowder to the boil, and the aerating, and the oxygenizing just like the noble Hausa man in Nigeria (the Hausa man who was colonised by the British, just like you and me, have a passion for tea and at leisure can drink it all day long.

During the ceremonial tea drinking Demba and I would have fruitful talks about a variety of subjects, ranging from Noble Mandinka culture, of truthfulness and high morality, to sublime Islamic matters, and it was during one of these that I concluded that should I ever be elected dictator of Sierra Leone, I would appoint Demba my minister of International Development (to hell with all uncle tom Sierra Leoneans who would seek the appointment and their communist lackeys, too).

Recently my cousin Yaya Fanusie wrote the following to me ( I’ll edit away the violations) Yaya wrote:

“Cornelius,
¤¤¤¤¤¤ is universally ordinary - In dance, spoken word, politics and philosophy. When he first showed up on this net a few years ago only ######## and my dear %%%%% were excited about his appearance here. I made the comment then that if they knew him he must be an ordinary fellow. And he demonstrates that (evidence) each time he sends a post. But remember life is great because of its diversity. Elements like @@, JJJ, BB and E:S are great signposts to show us that Even if people like you and my self are stripped of all our accomplishments, we will still not be ordinary like them.
Yaya Fanusie “

Part of the secret of Yaya and I being who and what we are, is gunpowder!!! I swear!

Just now my favourite is “Thé Verte Special Gunpowder” (Special Gunpowder GOLE LALLA)
